Cause
This is an explanation, not a fault: the safety score summarizes your site's detected safety performance over a period so trends are comparable at a glance.
Resolution
- The score is driven by the safety events seeo detects at your site, weighted by how serious and how frequent they are, relative to the activity at the site.
- A falling score means detected events are rising relative to activity; open the trend view to see which event types are driving it.
- To improve the score, work the largest contributing event type — the trend view shows whether your change is working.
Verification
You can name the event types currently driving your score and see them in the trend view.
Escalate if
The score moves in a way the trend view cannot explain.
